I too enjoy reading much more than watching tv although at the moment not much time for either.
Taking mum out for lunch today, well lunch for me as she will only have coffee and cake.

It is when I don't have any fresh lamb and chicken in the house.
Had a power failure while I was in Mandurah a couple of weekends ago and discovered my freezers had defrosted. Had to throw away everything. Loads of precooked meals as well as lots of chicken, lamb and beef. Haven't stocked up yet so I feel like Old Mother Hubbard.

DH is arriving home from New Zealand tonight and has just  sent a text requesting an assortment of  curries for dinner tonight so I better start  cooking.  Not yet though as its only 4.30am 

Hi everyone. Took me ages to work out why there was no reply box etc.
Eventually noticed that I was a guest and after many attempts at different passwords I am finally in.
What happened? 

A very special day here as my lovely niece in Brisbane announced her engagement today after her boyfriend of 18 months proposed to her this morning and my DS and his wife had 12 week pregnancy confirmed and all tests and scans perfect. This one will be GC number 12 for us and will be very much loved, wanted and special exactly like the 11 that we have been previously gifted with. What a wonderful,day 

Mini lamb roast with a warm couscous salad tonight.
