Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Re: Where did it go? :(

earth mumma - Thank you for your reply.  Good to know I'm not the only one missing it (otherwise one might think I was going bonkers haha).

If you can't find it I could re-type it up and post it, but would probably like to know if there is a reason for it disappearing first.
I don't know if we'll ever know.  If you could that would be great please, if not I'll survive.  :)

No idea Zan.

Does that mean you had to lick it out Karen?   :)

I made a batch of this using almonds as the nuts and took some for each family gathering.  At the first one no one was really interested.  At the second one people raved over it.

The mini's asked me to make some today, but I don't have the ingredients.  It's rather expensive to make as a monthly treat.

Thanks again hana (every time I go to type that it ends up being haha - LOL).

Just my sense of humour.  Judy said everything I would have.
OK, cool  :), I may or may not have just been taking things personally that day  :-))

I ended up making it.  I didn't mind it (it would have gone better with a BBQ rather than what I ate it with).  The rest of my family didn't really go for it - so don't know that I'd make it again.   :(

Desserts / Re: Basic panna cotta

I had some cream I wanted to use up last week, so I made this one.

I have never had/made panna cotta before.  From what I have heard the consistency was perfect.  It was a little too sweet for me (it did end up with a little extra sugar in though as I was off with the fairies when I weighed it in  :D), so next time I'll try it with less.

Thanks fundj.

The kids love these.

I ended up getting 30 (tablespoon of batter) and a good like of the bowl  :).

After the first batch came out brown @ 10 mins, I dropped my oven back to 200 and they were cooked perfect in 10 mins.

Thank you for replying.

opi2kenopi - that could be it, but I'm sure the one I was looking at was converted TMX, hence it's appeal.

CC - don't remember it having sultanas & currents (yuk, lol).

Oh well, another reminder for me to print things out as I find then, rather than as I need them.

Hello

In this thread: http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4064.0 I had a link to a cinnamon roll recipe.  I came back today to see if I had the ingredients to make it (since I really feel like eating some) only to find it's gone :(.  I think it was posted by JulieO.

Can anyone help me out please?

Many thanks

I think I need to make this for Christmas.

What mayo is best?  Is store brought ok?  Also, I want to leave the peanuts out (due to an allergy), would it be ok without?  Or what would you use instead?  How spicy is it?

Many thanks

Festive Seasons / Re: Gingerbread (men et al)

Made some of these today.  I'm not into ginger biscuits much, so on advice from a friend, I subbed in some cinnamon for some of the ginger.  They only needed 10 mins in my oven - and the ones I rolled too thin started burring in that time.  I need to master the art of rolling them out.

Very nice.  Now the children keep hassling me about icing them.  :-))
