This foodieatheart person has been on every blog possible supporting every machine that is NOT a Thermomix, no matter how crappy it is. I remember them posting something about the Hotmix Pro.
Someone with an axe to grind with Thermomix perhaps?

That does sound like a long time although I think my Varoma demo's have gone for at least 2.5 to 3 hours. Everyone has had enough by then.
I thought that attendees at any demo are supposed to be non owners?

There was also TM Ted. Think he was going to become a consultant if my memory serves me.

I think the comments here about HO being just a little peeved about the success of Tenina's books are spot on. Quite frankly, if it wasnt for this forum and Tenina's book I would have abandoned my TMX a long time ago. The HO books now look extemely amateurish and I think they know it.

this was an interesting read cecelia. What I don't understand is why people who don't want to buy a TMX keep defending their decision for example, writing long lists of things it can't do. If you've decided you don't need a TMX stand by your decision!

I also know consultants are not allowed to "like" the super kitchen machine spatulas (which are amazing) let alone speak about them. What would HO say if they knew some of these consultants also went to Tenina's class?
Dani Valent obviously did something right as she's very much supported.

Cecelia does this mean you are not allowed to mention this forum?

Have seen this in the supermarket so will be interested to know the answer. Hopefully one of our seasoned yoghurt makers can answer how and when to incorporate vanilla bean into the milk.

Do you need to use lukewarm water for this?

Some consultants have a FB page (or blog) with a Thermomix related name and this is where they are not allowed to post anything to do with non HO approved books ie Quick Fix. They can however, advertise a book like In the Mix or the new Devils Island Project book which has the tick of approval from HO.

JD what do you think of this book - is it worth buying?
I would hate to fork out for this and then have it go the way of Full Steam Ahead - I've hardly touched my copy.

I think Mrs Nesbit is referring to the "review" Tenina wrote about the Hotmix. I could be wrong.
