Title: New Thermomix owner.. From Adelaide :-))

My hero hubby surprised me with a Thermomix for Mothers Day and my Birthday  ;D. Best present EVER!!!
I've wanted one for ages so it was a awesome surprise when the consultant knocked on the door with the special delivery!! Only got it yesterday and today I made the veg stock concentrate, too easy choc cake and a bacon & mushroom risotto.  It was so great, obviously slower than when you know what you are doing.
I have two sons ages 6 and 3 and I can't wait to make healthy meals without all the preservatives and chemicals that you find in foods these day's!

I so excited about this new adventure and look forward to getting to know all the fellow Thermomix users on the forum  ;D

Hello TQTB, great to see another Adelaide member.  What a lovely DH you have got and I can imagine the surprise you got with that knock on the door.  Enjoy cooking with the TMX, make the most of this forum and join in all the fun we have on here.
Hope you had a happy birthday, let us know the exact date and I can put you in my forum birthday book.

Welcome to the forum. What a lovely DH you have there. The thermomix is great for making additive free food. DS is on an additive free diet and it really makes a difference to his behavior and health.

Thanks everyone.  My actual birthday is the 17th of May  ;D
Had a wonderful day yesterday using the TM... and this morning we make the piklets for brekkie - super yummie.
Look forward to heading on this adverture with the help and support from the forum.

Welcome TQTB, you will soon get so used to your "extra hands" in the kitchen you'll wonder what you did before!  :D
I have a nearly 6 year old and a very nearly 3 year old too (as well as a 16mth old) - TM has been a sanity saver more than once!!!

Welcome to the forum TQTB.  I am originally from Adelaide and seeing so many newcomers to the forum from there makes me just a little homesick..
Then I look outside and remember Adelaide winters and soon get over it   :D
