Title: TMX World app
Post by: dede on May 08, 2012, 05:20:23 am
Found this on the app store for $0.99 for a short time as a mothers day special. I have downloaded it and having a bit of a play. Seems pretty good at this stage. Will have to play with it a bit more before I decide if it's any good or not. You can share your own recipes and download others who have shared their recipes.
That's as much as I know at the moment. :)

Be interested to hear what you think of it after a few more days.  I paid for the robogormet app but I hardly ever use it as I use is forum more

I've just downloaded it too... interesting to see how it'll go.  I guess it relies on a 'community' of people to share recipes etc.

We'll see what happens...  I thought what the heck for $1

I have had a bit of a look, for $0.99 it's cheap (as long as there are no hidden costs down the track) I think give it time it should grow and have a lot more recipes available. Has quiet a few now but not much that jumped out at me that I want to try.
But like I said I have only had a little bit of a look. :)

Hello,

I agree, so far the recipes  in the app are ok, but not to challenging. For me the best part is that you can enter as many recipes as you want from your especial selection ;-) and have them in the palm of your hand. As the community grows there will be more and more recipes.

Best wishes

This has now gone up to $2.99. Is it worth it? How many recipes are there now approx? I'm only a new owner so won't have as much experience as some of you. Would these recipes be good?

Brumington I wouldn't waste your money now. I have not gone back to look at it again. This forum is so good that I really don't need anything else. Although I do look, there are millions of recipes available for free online.

Thanks dede. I'll put the money towards some more spices!  ;)

I downloaded this App last night.  It's free at the moment.   Trouble is it doesn't work.  There must be a bug in it that they are fixing but it's definitely free.
