Title: Woohoo - weekend of cooking
Post by: dragongirly on May 04, 2012, 08:20:03 am
I managed to leave my For Food's Sake at my sister's place when I was home on holidays in March.  She sent it last wekk - I now have it and have firm plans for the weekend.  Yay!

Let us know what you make dragongirly. We certainly have plenty of reviews (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=8870.0) on the forum for this book.

Thanks JD - I'll post back on Monday - I think I will be internet-less on the weekend - there seems to be a phone line problem.  Never mind I still have power so I can cook!

Yes it is indeed cookie - one must have an air conditioner running as well as the TM  :D

I do plan on getting through a few recipes.  I have some wonderful people at work who are all keen to try foreign food - as in not local Thai food - so I won't have a problem trying to store everything.

Hi  Fiona, its Brenda from the cooking Demo with Tenina, good to hear you are still enjoying the TMX, my son and daughter-in-law are in Thailand at the moment too said it is very hot, it is freezing here.  Sorry I lost your email address.  My latest from FFS was the smoked salmon Crepe Torte, left out the cream cheese and capers and put in avocado to make it a bit lighter.  Enjoy your weekend.

Have started the day off with the buttermilk rolls - had to find my cream of tarter to make the buttermilk first  :)

The plan aft that is for the Maple Chocolate Fudge. Mmmmmmmmmmmm can't wait for that one  :D

I shall enjoy my cooking weekend for all those who don't have the opportunity the week.

Not to worry Brenda - my email is in my profile - at least I think I put it in there.  And yes it is revoltingly hot.  However it DID rain for a while lat night - lovely to go to sleep to.

I'll post photos when I actually finish something ;D

Cheers everyone.
