I have a Varoma demo booked for next Friday. At my original Thermomix demo I got a thermoserver. Can I get another one at my Varoma demo? My consultant only mentioned the Varoma cookbook, and when I asked about at thermoserver she said she would have to check, but hasn't gotten back to me. Sorry that I am repeating a topic that has been covered before, but I noticed they were all from at least last year, so thought I would ask in case things have changed in 2012.

Sorry, haven't done my Varoma training, so can't help you. I seem to remember that it's only the Full Steam Ahead book that you get at this demo. If there's a sale, I think you can get a Thermoserver 1/2 price.

I'm pretty sure you get FSA for free if someone else buys a TM and half price if no one buys a TM at the Varoma demo. Otherwise, you have to wait for specials re extra thermoservers as they come around rarely. You can't order them from HO either- ggggrrrhhh! Sometimes they come up for sale on eBay but they usually get lots of bids as they are so popular. If you look at some of the other posts there are definitely alternatives to thermoservers that you can buy. Knowing Judy, she probably has the posts to hand and can link them in this topic!

Here's (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6656.0) one thread about alternatives to thermosavers - a few links there.

do you still get the bread mat for $40 instead of $60
-
Unless it has changed in the last couple of months you can get
FSA at half price unless someone purchases from your demo - then it's free
AND
Thermoserver for $30
OR
Breadmat for $40 (maybe $42 ??? ???)
-
Faffa is right
Mat is $40
-
This month there is a further Varoma bonus - half price Best of Recipe Communities cookbook -$30.
-
Thanks everyone, yes my consultant did get back to me today and said that I could get the thermoserver $30, the varoma cookbook half price, and this months special the Best of Recipe Communities half price, so I think I'll get all three!

Oh thanks for this post bubbles. Have my demo Monday and my friend is buying. Do I need a 3rd thermoserver? Would be nice! Would love a second bowl and blade set.

Had my Varoma demo yesterday. Didn't realise how long it would be. Started at 3pm and didn't finish until about 6:45. My poor guests were so keen to get home to get dinner for their kids. I felt bad as I thought it would be finished by about 5:45. Should it take this long??
-
i have no idea how long it should go for keiramax it sure does sound like a very longggggggggggggggg demo
did your guests enjoy the demo ?
-
They enjoyed the food. 3 people already own a TM and two don't. Of the two who don't own one, one has saved the money to buy one but has now been left indecisive as to whether it would work for her. The other one is still confused as to what the TM does.
So I'm going to hold my own demo for them.
I must admit I didn't learn anything new, so I'll keep learning from the lovely folks here.
-
That does sound like a long time although I think my Varoma demo's have gone for at least 2.5 to 3 hours. Everyone has had enough by then.
I thought that attendees at any demo are supposed to be non owners?

After i bought my thermomix, I went to a demo for a neighbor, who had just bought one,( so a delivery demo), and the consultant was so bad.
I could have done so much better, and yet I am not a consultant.
My neighbor was so unhappy, spent the whole time running around getting things that the consultant did not bring.
She did not learn anything on how to use the thermomix.
Maybe you need another consultant.
Or just invite them over yourself for a afternoon of cooking.

As my consultant was retiring from consulting, my demo was a rush job and I didn't learn much either. Such a pity but I have learnt so much from here.
-
Seems alot sign up, sell the 6 thermomixes, then quit.
Getting their machine for free.
Robyn ???

I have since heard that my consultant became a grandmother and wanted to spend time with her grandchild. I was just upset that she didnt have the courtesy to let me know and left me in limbo.
-
Dizzy, I got adopted by Jo ( Quirkey Cooking)
as my consultant quit not long after I bought my thermomix.

I must say my consultant has been fantastic, she has contacted me weekly by phone to check how its all going (even when I was morning sick and hardly using it!) she answers any queries/questions, gives me tips, and really encourages and praises what I have done. She emails me within a day or two when I email her, and often emails me recipes..etc.. I never thought I would get this type of customer service after buying my product, but I couldn't be happier :)

Soph I should say, those prices are if I don't have any friends that buy, but if you have a friend buying, that will be even better!
