Does anyone else find that there TM makes a humming sound when not in use but power still on?
I have heard mine quiet a few times and just turn it off at the wall. My sister and mother have said theirs does the same thing so I haven't worried about it to much. :)
Maybe it's just calling out to me to use it? ;D
-
yes >:( i just got up to have a listen with my hear right next to it and DD walked in and straight out again thanks mandi now she will have my locked up
no, no sound from my TM
-
Lol fundj, she will think you have lost the plot :)
-
Mine doesn't hum often, but occasionally I hear it. I just put my ear to mine now and can't hear anything. Usually once I turn it off and on again it's fine. :)
I wonder if you can take your TM with you in the loony bin? I guess not as it's a sharp object ;D ;D
-
Haven't noticed...but I always turn off and pull the plug out when finished.....we have lots of power surges in this area, and I'm not risking it!
-
I have started to make that a habit Maddy as well. But sometimes I forget.
-
I can't say that mine makes that kind of noise but my kids seem to think I spend so much time hovering around my TM and the kitchen in general they surely must think it is my third child!
-
I always turn mine off at the wall too.
-
Well I was expecting more people to say that yes theirs hums sometimes too :(
Oh well I guess mine is just happy :)
I whistle when I'm happy so why not :)
-
I unplug mine when not in use. Maybe it's a Tassie thing if your mum and sister experience the same.
-
I don't know, it's over my two heads ;D
Can it be possible to be Tassie power? Or are you having me on?
-
Anythings possible in Tassie Dede. ;D ;D ;D
-
I turn mine off at the powerpoint too.
Perhaps it is a Tassie thing. Just like the water goes backwards in your toilets :D
-
What do you mean the water goes backwards?
I certainly don't want it going forward (what a mess) :)
-
dont worry dede your not going crazy and its not your tassie power
it happens to mine when l forget to turn it off and unplug it
dont know why but

Nazar I'm glad you have a humming TM as well. Makes me feel a bit better. I just have to remember to turn it off when not in use :)
