Title: Hell YEAH!
Post by: runnybabbit on April 06, 2012, 01:23:01 pm
Hello everybody, we just got our Thermie delivered last night. Cruelly, all the shops were closed today (HELLO, why not open on Good Friday?! I NEED TO COOK IN MY NEW THERMOMIX!) so we haven't done much.

But ohhhhh I am so excited. I have already bought For Food's Sake and Dinner Spinners. Can't wait to get cooking!

Have been lurking on this forum for a while now. I am so excited, have I mentioned that?! :D

Hi runnybabbit (great name for this time of the year), welcome to the forum.  Yes I did suspect you were a little excited and I can totally understand that and your disappointment at having to wait until the shops open again tomorrow. You are well ahead having bought Tenina's books already, did you go to one of her cooking classes perhaps?  If you've been lurking for a while, you would know how this forum works and some of the characters on it so thanks for joining us - have fun with your TMX and us here.

Dear runnybabbit,  Welcome to the wonderful world of Thermomixing.  Study up on your TMX31 manual and soon you can do your shopping and away you'll go.  This is a great place to get inspiration and information.  Best of luck!  Look forward to reading your recipes soon.  :)

Good Friday seems to be the DAY here. Sunday is for SALES! I just stay off the roads altogether.

Welcome runnybabbit.  You did well to get Tenina's books first up.

Welcome runnyrabbit. I hope you have found some food shops open today so that you can buy some stores for TMX cooking.

Thank you everyone! I adapted my pumpkin cannelloni recipe and we had that, it was yummy, but a little too pulverised -- just a matter of getting used to the TMX.

And today -- of course I had to make the hot cross buns. So good fresh from the oven; think I'll never be able to have store-bought again.

We are just sitting down to our EDC mushroom risotto for dinner now. :D
