Wishing all members a Happy Easter. Enjoy time with loved ones. What will you be cooking over the festive period?
Today is a seafood lasagne in my household. Yes, the Thermomix will be rotating. As for Easter Sunday, eating out at someone's house that has a Thermomix....Will be great

Thanks MM, Happy Easter to you and your family too. I hope you are enjoying this lovely 4 day break as we are here.
Today we had a smoked salmon pasta dish but I have other leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow before having visitors on Sunday. I will be making them Nico's Thai Chilli Chicken and they are bringing the sweets although I've made 2 things today that will be put out as well. It is just so easy to whip up things that we just do it because we can, not because we need to half the time. Monday we might just eat out for a change. :-* :-*

MM, enjoy the Easter Holiday. In Victoria Australia it is usually the last of the good weather, before Winter. Family arriving on Sunday so cooking up a storm in the TMX. Bread, Hot X Buns, Spaghetti. Bol, Biscuits. Easter egg hunt on Sunday, for all the kids, big and small.

I had a massive curry cook up on Wednesday night for a staff lunch on Thursday. I made, chicken Korma, rogan josh, potato aloo, Tarka Dahl and a veggie curry. I managed to bang all bar the vege curry out in about 3hours.
Everyone at school was super impressed and were so impressed it was all done in the thermomix!
I'll whip something up on Sunday. Probably something seafoodie. I've got crayfish, crabs, fish and prawns in the freezer. Yum!
Have a fab break all! School holidays for me! I survived my first term as a new principal. Now to stop and breathe a little.

How did your leg stand up to all that work Dede?
-
Robyn, 5 batches of hot cross buns - how many people are you feeding :o My dozen will last me a few weeks.
-
We had 10 for lunch today (in-laws) and everyone went home sufficiently stuffed!
Pizza, lasagna and lots of mini desserts & cupcakes.
I was pretty happy with my cake decorating, except the cupcakes that were supposed to be Easter Bunnies, but look more like sad cats :-)) (these are the times I wish I had children, so I could say "the kids made them!")
-
Katiej - they look wonderful!! Congratulations!! Wish I could half so well! :)
-
Yay, some photos Katie - they look lovely. I would never have thought to blame the kids for something I wasn't happy with - great idea although I somehow don't think you could get away with it if the kids heard you say that :D
Glad you had a nice day, as we did, the weather was quite kind to us today.
-
Everything looks great Katie :) I loved the idea of blaming the kids for bad decorating :D :D :D :D
-
Haha Katie, blame the kids...
We had friends for lunch today which was just awesome as it doesn't happen very often here. DH would normally just work on the farm on a weekend. We usually go away for Easter. I've enjoyed staying home and cooking, blogging and chatting on the forum!
I made Tenina's Raspberry and Almond Meringue Cake, Soft Buttermilk Rolls and we had Roast Pork with all the trimmings.
My friend cooked the pork in her WeberQ, so the meal was really easy and casual. We ate outside on the deck as the weather was superb today!
Yesterday I made Crio Bliss Balls (http://bushgourmand.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/crio-bliss-balls.html), Maddy's Chocolate Hot Cross Buns and Chookie's Hot Cross Buns.
For tea tonight we're having Tenina's Slow Cooked Pork Chilli.
Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter.

Hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Sunday. Most members of our family have now departed and only my DGS is left, reading "Spot's First Easter" with his Grandpa. We had Cookie's Beetroot, Parmesan and Cashew Dip, Avocado and Lemongrass Dip from the Recipe Community and Sunflower Cheese Ball also from there. Main course was Soy Sauce Chicken from the Asian Cookbook (whole chicken cooked in the bowl of the TMX - supposedly only a 1.2kg fits in, but I squeezed a 1.7kg one in, cutting off the parson's nose and a bit of fat), with Brown Rice, Prawns and lots of steamed veges and salad. Dessert was Ambrosia and Whipped Cream, with bananas and leftover Bread Cooking made with Christmas Cake instead of bread. I love the Thermomix and the Thermomix recipes. Thank you to everyone for sharing. :)

Judy I gave most baker's dozens away - took a batch to the pharmacy for DD and staff, one to DH and staff, had dinner guest slast night who each went home with an Easter pack containing choc hot cross buns - another 2 batches were made for arrival of visitors (including Gayle aka djinni who is in Rocky until next Sunday, so lovely to meet another forum friend face to face) - it was thumbs up from all so thanks a bunch Maddy (http://www.directsmiley.com/cat/4/4_13_10.gif)

You are too kind Robyn but at least it is good for the hips to be so generous ;D
