Texted my consultant this morning as poor thermie has been coming up with errors 31 & 52!!! Just heard back saying that she has written a service report and to take it to Balcatta when I can! Luckily I have mums tmx cos I don't think I'd survive without my baby! Wish me luck. Hoping it's nothing serious.
-
You are lucky indeed hools, probably better it's yours and not Mum's :( Do you have to travel far to Balcatta and is it still under warranty?
-
Oh Hools, how long have you had your TMX, what a nightmare, Hope it is better soon and back home with you.
-
Yes, Judy, I'd hate for anything to happen to mums! Yes it's still under warranty as we used our gold visa card to get an extra years warranty! Mind u I've still only had it 16 months so it would be under normal warranty. Balcatta is only about 10-15 mins down the road so all good. Mum and dad are away for another 2-3 weeks so as long as I have him back by then fit and well I'll be happy! :)
-
I hope your TM is fixed quickly Hools :)
-
Gee that works out well Hools, at least you won't have to go back to traditional cooking. After 16 months you would nearly forget how to lol.
Hope it's fixed and back home in no time.
-
Hope your TMX is better soon. Thank goodness you have your Mum's - it would be like losing your right hand otherwise. :-*
-
Wishing your Thermie a speedy recovery. Lucky you to have
one to use while it's away.
-
I hear the Balcatta hospital is a great place for opoerations. May your TMX recover quickly, and have no scars.
-
Yes hope you get your thermie back soon and in perfect workng order... I didnt cope well when mine was sent off but at least you have your mums one for a couple of weeks..
-
I imagine not having the TM would be worse than me not having my dishwasher. I have got rid of quiet a few appliances since buying my TM and would find it really difficult with out it. At least with my Dishwasher broken down I still have the sink to wash up in.
-
Haha i thought it woud have been replaced by now dede.. Hope it does soon
Dh only mentioned the other day tat i said i was going to sell my other appliances once i got thermie and a year and a half later they are still here gathering dust but just cant seem to part with them lol
-
know how you feel Frozzie . . . I'm in the same boat . . :( :(
-
I did have a call from insurance company yesterday to say they are sending me a cheque for the repair of my dishwasher. So shouldn't be much longer now. I will ring the repair man to give him the go ahead to fix it on Monday. So hopefully will be back with me by the end of the week.
-
Glad to hear it dede.. I cant function without my dishwasher 😱
-
It's amazing what we can do when we have to though.
-
Thanks for your thoughts I'll pass them on to thermie!! Tuesday will be the day I think as it's a long weekend in the west.
On another note, I just ordered a free new wave 5 in 1 multi cooker!! I've been wanting one since before Christmas but haven't got around to it. My pressure cooker is a bit iffy at the moment too so I was looking at flybuys rewards and I have more than enough points to get one. So I should have that on a few weeks and can get rid of a few other cupboard clutterers! If anyone wants to know, you need 14,300 points or something like that. Happy happy love getting something for nothing!!!
-
Hope your thermie gets better soon.
-
Hope you get it fixed soon - you are so lucky to have another one to use while your baby is sick!!!!
-
Frozzie, I can't part with my appliances either. I did give my mum the food processor
but bought a Tefal food slicer (very small, doesn't take up any space at all ).
I still have my crock pot, it cooks the perfect casserole. The pie maker uses up
all the left overs thermomix makes (you get the picture).
I love thermomix the most.
-
Oh the humanity. :(
So dependent on Thermie I don't know what I'd do if it died. Too horrible to contemplate.

I really need to get rid of some things... Have things i never use anymore.. 😏

I've just had a message saying that thermie will be ready to be picked up tomorrow morning! :) No mention what was wrong with it though. Suppose I'll find out tomorrow!
-
Oh that's great Hools, nice a quick service as well.
-
I picked up thermie this arvo! Alls well now( haven't had a chance to try it yet). It was the board behind the front panel which had apparently tripped out! They don't know why it happened. Something to be aware of anyway.
-
Was he happy to be back home? Bet there was a tear in your eye when you seen him again :)
-
I actually haven't been home much all day and it may be takeaway tonight!! Away to narrogin for a party tomorrow so he will feel very neglected.
-
So pleased he is home.
-
Welcome home Thermie.
-
Yay!! He's home ;D
-
Glad tm is home. You were very lucky that it went in holidays the same time as your mum.
H :)
-
Well I finally have a chance to make something in thermie. Haven't had time or been home for long enough. I just made the meat for beef and ale pie for tomorrow night and was so paranoid that it was going to beep an error at me, but no, it's definately fixed. Yippee!!!

Good to hear Hools, you'll soon get your confidence back with it.
