Well, "kid" is probably a slight exaggeration but hey!
I'm eagerly awaiting my new arrival and thought that you experts out there might be able to give me a few pointers as and when.
I've been feeling rather left out for some time as many of my friends have a miracle machine in their kitchen and I've wanted one so badly.
So here I, not a complete and utter novice but not far off.

Welcome, jaybenj!  You'll have heaps of fun here  - and in the kitchen! Post any question - any time - and you'll have an answer (or several answers for that matter) in very short course!  :)

Welcome to the forum jaybenj - you are never too old to get a new appliance and this one will change your life.  You will want to cook more than ever and try all sorts of things you've never made before. You will be so proud of your efforts, believe me. How nice it will be to join in the conversation with your friends and not be on the outer just wanting one.

Welcome, hope it has arrived, I was sooooo jealous when my daughter bought one, my sister-in-law had one, my mother kept telling me I didn't need one...
