These are delicious, so tender and tasty. I cooked them in the WeberQ for 4 minutes each side. DH said they were melt-in-the mouth. 400g chicken thighs made 6 skewers

Looks lovely JD. Beautiful presentation. Makes my mouth water.
I often look at these type of recipes and don't do them as they look fiddly.
Also the chicken nuggets. I might have to try them to see if I can get DGS to eat chicken this way.
-
Sometimes fiddly is worth it Rosie - can't imagine anyone not enjoying these.
-
yummo JD - I must've missed that recipe... not often you post DH's comments so they must've been outstanding :)
-
Wow Judy, what a feast :o Agree with CP,must have been good if DH made an comment ;D
-
Now I have the book it is on my to try list.
-
JD these look fanastic, on my list.
Thank you
H :)
Still on my to do list, must try them :)

I made this for our supper this evening.Agree with JD's comments,it's tender, tasty and delicious.I had to cook the skewers under my grill in the cooker for 15 minutes, turning them frequently.I loved the cucumber salad that is served with it.Thanks Alyce, another winning recipe :)

:D Well . . . now I know what's on the menu for today!! Many thanks for that - sounds wonderful! :D
-
Couldn't be bothered using skewers so cooked it on the wok with a red chili thrown in for a zing! Yummy.

Quick, easy recipe. Ended up marinating overnight instead of 1 hour. Hubby cooked them up this morning so he could take some for lunch and said they were "f#$$%ing awesome" and that we should use this recipe for when we have guests over for BBQ's so I guess he liked them :P
Made the cucumber salad too which was nice but does not involve the TMX. First time using mirin and a great result in all.
Here are a couple of photos:

I think with that sort of recommendation on the chicken it is a must make!
-
looks lovely tasty :D
-
These really are fantastic and super easy to make. I used breast and marinated the chicken all day. Delicious will make again. I also made the cucumber salad which was nice but not a hit here.

They look great kimmy, will have to look at the recipe. Did you cook them on the BBQ?
-
Wonder I used a frypan. Too hot to send DH out to the bbq tonight.
-
We had these tonight. They were lovely. I didn't do the cucumber salad as I knew it wouldn't be popular. We had it with Tenina's Mushroom and Feta strudel from Dinner Spinner. Using up a few more mushrooms.
-
Thinking of using this marinade for some chicken ribs.
-
Having these tonight, just making marinade now :)
-
I forgot to post that I marinated ribs in this mixture and cooked in the Airfryer and they were lovely. the marinade has a lot of flavour and is quick to make
-
I have made them before. Loved by all. I used 4 laege chicken breasts.
-
I made these last week and they were a bit hit! (I didn't do the cucumber salad to go with them as I didn't have any cucumbers at the time!) The chicken had beautiful flavour. Would definitely do these for a get together.
I used honey in the marinade...has anyone tried it with maple syrup? I thought that might be yummy too!
Thanks Alyce, your cookbooks are getting a real workout here! (I should be too after the Christmas/New Year festivities, but I'm too busy cooking!)
Thanks ;D

Another one I have made and obviously enjoyed. Thanks for the bump Blackwood.
