Title: How to peel almonds in the Thermi

Good morning....I am new to the Thermomix world....and would like to know if anyone has bought natural almonds and knows how peel them in the thermomix....such a time consuming task by hand...... thanks Zippy ;D

haven't managed to peel them only blanch them and then peel by hand ... find a good movie and do it lol

It's much quicker to blanch them using the TMX than just hot water. The TMX seems to release the skins so much better.

How exactly do you blanch them in the TMX Cookie, do you start with cold water?

This is from the Festive Book on the Marzipan Stars recipe.

Place almonds in bowl and cover them with water and heat for 4 minutes at Varoma on  :-: speed 1.

I found them very easy to skin after that.
