Title: Hi from a newbie in SE Melbourne suburbs
Post by: Birdie on January 20, 2012, 07:05:29 am
Hi Everyone,
My lovely DH gave me a TMX for a surprise birthday present last year and we have all used it nearly everday since.  DH having never made bread before now makes his own with the TMX and our DD (25) is always whipping something up.  I am finding it so quick to make something different for tea other than the meat and 3 vegetables that we often had.  My shopping list and pantry contents have changed to more basic ingredients and I feel that we are eating more healthily.  It feels so good to make things like Worcestershire sauce from scratch - I didn't even think it was possible.
I am learning so much and have found so many new recipes to try. Thanks to the forum members for sharing their recipes and knowledge so freely.  You guys are great.

Welcome Birdie.  Glad you are all enjoying the TMX.  There are so many recipes here it's hard to decide what to make next - a hard but enjoyable process!

Hi Birdie, welcome to the forum.  Glad you are happy with your TMX and this wonderful forum. The 2 go hand in hand beautifully don't they?  Nice to see the whole family are enjoying using the TMX.
