Hello, just wanted to say hi to everyone. I have had my Thermomix since New Year's Eve and am loving it but can't wait to learn how to do more. I have named him George (after Thermoman who used to be on tv) and I do believe my hubby is a little jealous :)

Hi Maid Marian, welcome to the forum. After a couple of weeks you have probably tried quite a few things and have seen just how many recipes you have to choose from on this forum. Have fun and get DH to have a go too, he may even like it himself ;)
-
Welcome indeed Maid Marian, and good luck with George. Hope to see you around the forum and at cooking class perhaps. The next ones in Tassie are coming up soon - Lenah Valley 4-6pm on Jan 22, Kings Meadows 7-9pm on 23 Jan and Huonville 6-8pm on 31 Jan. Enjoy!!

Hi maid Marian, welcome from another Tasmanian. Bet your having lots of fun with your new kitchen helper. I have had mine for 12 months now and couldn't live without it (well I could, but I would hate to).

Hi Maid Marian a big welcome from another Tasmanian as well ;D
Isn't cooking with TMX a lot of fun?

Welcome to the Forum Maid Marian. Are you in HObart? Beautiful city. Have just visited for the boat race and Taste.

Welcome Maid Marian! You'll find all sorts of inspiration and help here. If you have a problem just put it up on the forum and you'll have answers in no time at all!! :)

Hello and welcome Maid Marian. Give DH a recipe to try and get him involved as much as possible. Perhaps it could be his responsibility to prepare dinner one night.
Take care and happy cooking.

thank you all for your welcomes :)
I am in the north of the state, near Launceston and will be going to the cooking class next Monday so hopefully will meet some fellow Thermomaniacs there. DH is scared he will do something wrong and is quite happy to just sit back and dine on whatever delights George & I whip up for him ;D

I'm also in the North of Tassie (Perth) my sister is a consultant and my mum has a TM as well so it's a real family affair. We love it.
