Hi everyone,
I have ds 5 th birthday on Sunday and would like to attempt marshmallow cones. I have found the marshmallow recipe but do you just pour this into the cones, sprinkle with 100's & 1000's and put in fridge?
Cheers Annabelle ;D

This (http://kidesrecipeskidslove.wordpress.com/2009/03/01/kids-marshmallow-cones/) recipe says leave it to set at room temperature.

I always buy those sherbert marshmallow cones from the confectionary dept (one of my many addictions)

When I made marshmallow you put it in a oven tray to set and then cut it. But if you want to put it in cones I think you would put it in them and let it set, sprinkling whatever you want on top before it set. Good luck. Would love to see a pic.

the Australian Womens Weekley had a party book out about 22 years ago, cos I made some marshmallow cones with clown faces on them for my DD1. Sorry after dementia thats all I can remember ;D

Google it most of the hits said to put the mixture into the cones ;)

:)Ok this morning i went thru all my party stuff for the marshmallow cone recipe i had. Of course it was cake mixture that u put in the cones. Have downloaded the marshmallow recipe from here and just going to give it a go. Will leave them at room temp, as the recipe judy found said. I am hoping that they will last a few days in an air tight container :P happy to post pictures if i can work out how to do it. Now I'm going to print of the choc bimby cake recipe to make the Car Racing track birthday cake ;D Wish me luck! Thanks Annabelle

Hi Bella6 . . . would this be of any help? Says that her Mum combined two AWW recipes (marshmellow and sherbet) and gives the recipes for both . .

Good luck bella6....let us know how you go.
I can't wait to make these myself....I can't remember the last time I had sherbet, or a mallow cone.

Didn't get there today :-[ made my great aunts chocolate cake recipe in the tm as 12 muffins and then the two ring tin cakes for racetrack birthday cake, the Nestlé choc chip biscuit dough, 3 rolls in the freezer ;D. Going to do marshmallow late fri arvo hoping it will be ok for Sunday. Pretty impressed with the tm and seems not to hard to do my own recipes in! Just need something as clever to CONTACT the 4 kids books for school - it is soooo time consuming. : >:(
