I am looking for a recipe for a breakfast protein smoothie that meets the following requirements :)
1. gluten and grain free (although quinoa would be ok)
2. dairy free
3. first class protein
4. protein powder free
5. cane sugar free
6. soy free
If you could help I would be eternally grateful!! (Yes, I know not a great deal is left - but at least it doesn't need to be nut or honey or fruit free!)

You could try this one (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7811.0), substituting with silken tofu and soy milk where appropriate. Must admit, I haven't tried this variation, but it might work for you. Perhaps it's worth a try.

I was just about to edit my original post. It has to be soy free as well. - so many exclusions! :)

Not sure what you mean by first class protein ???
What about cyndi O'meara's protein shake?

Just did a bit of internet research and found that the terms first and second class proteins are now out of date. Complete protein seems to be more current - but some sources say that this is out of date too! In any case what I am referring to are food combinations or foods that provide all the essential proteins.
Here is the wikipedia explanation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complete_protein (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complete_protein)
Although I am not a vegetarian this list of what to combine in order to get complete protein in the diet is useful http://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/802982/get-your-protein-with-meatless-combinations (http://www.sheknows.com/food-and-recipes/articles/802982/get-your-protein-with-meatless-combinations)
Quinoa looks very good on this front. I might try and track down a recipe for quinoa milk and maybe I could modify Cyndi O'Meara's protein shake. I am not keen on the raw eggs in it tho'.

Try having a look at Quirky Jo's blog, there might be something on there that will work for you. Perhaps some of the raw food sites would be helpful as well.

Thanks, I have been hunting around for a while and was hoping that somebody might know a recipe ready to hand!

I'm not sure about different definitions of protein but you could make almond milk first and then proceed with your other ingredients, this is what I do for dairy free smoothies.

Moonmobile,
Here is my smoothie recipe that I make every morning, that may fit your requirement and is quite adaptable:
In the Thermomix, add:
* Handful of almonds
* 100gr mixed frozen berries
* 1 frozen banana (I cut bananas into pieces & leave in freezer)
* 1 tblsp sesame seeds (calcium boost)
* 1 tblsp chia seeds or flaxseeds
* 1/2 tsp chlorella (complete protein)
* 1 Tblsp cacao powder or carob
* 3 fresh dates
* 2 Tblsp coconut yoghurt (optional) (you can make in thermomix)
* 6 icecubes
* 420 grams water
Process on speed 10 for 1 minute.
This makes quite a thick, creamy smoothie. Alter to your taste. You can make almond milk, coconut milk or any similar dairy free milks in advance in the Thermomix. Otherwise, the handful of almonds and water as above, is a quick option.
Information regarding chlorella http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorella
Enjoy! ;D

Thank you so much Squirrel! I'm so grateful!
That is exactly what I was looking for. One has to be really creative when one is on such a restricted diet. :)
This will be my breakfast tomorrow after I have purchased the ingredients I don't have already!
