HI everyone, This is my first post but have been reading the forum for months. I received my thermi in August and am absolutely hooked. My pantry used to consist of several shelves of tinned goods and processed sauces etc. now they have been replaced with raw ingredients in clear containers. Friends have walked into my pantry and asked what we actually eat and then I proceed to knock them something up in a jiffy. I run on two bowls for ease and have every english printed recipe book.
My challenge next year is to start my family of five on gluten, dairy, yeast and sugar free. This wouldn't be possible before thermi . But that is 2012.
Has anyone made the almond pastry and then frozen it raw? Just trying to make Christmas a little less messy.
Look forward to talking to other enthusiasts soon.
Lisa

We like to read all or most of the messages Lisa. Welcome to the forum it is lovely to have you with us.
I have made the almond pastry and found it a bit hard to work with, but then it was a very hot day.

Welcome Lisa
Let me know how you go about the diet changes. Are you looking at eliminating one at a time or all at once?

Hi Lisa, welcome to the forum. Many of us read every single posting on this forum - it sure keeps us busy :D
Glad to hear you love your TMX and I hope it's a help with what you plan to do as far as food is concerned next year. Good luck with the changes you plan, obviously the family has health issues which you are trying to eliminate. There are members with blogs for gf and dairy free so if you need any help in accessing them, just let us know.

Well just waiting for finance to approve, fundj. I'll call them on Monday. Hopefully before Christmas or if not before new year! :)
The waiting is killing me. I've already filled 2 folders with recipes I've printed off from this forum and the thermomix one. That should keep me going for a while. My 2 girls will LOVE cooking with the thermie...11 and 9yrs.
