Title: chocolate ganache

300g cream
300g of chopped dark chocolate


Add cream to bowl, 5 min 100  ^^

When there is 1.30mins left on the timer add chopped chocolate, continue for the full 5 mins
Stand for 2 mins

Mix on speed 3 to 4   for 1 min
Makes  about 2 cup

Thanks for this recipe.  I have never used ganache.  How does it set up.  if at all ?

it does set in the frigde but not very hard, when i need it  i scoop some out into a cup and place in M/W or into a bowl of hot water or if i  have something cooking in the TM i just place it on top  ;D

I leave in fridge for at least 4 hours, sometimes til the next day.  Let it sit a room temp., then whip it the mixer or with hand beaters.  Makes a lovely icing.
If you want it glossy, let it cool a little after melting, then pour on cake.

I think the bit of butter makes it shiny. Now with my new super spatula from Helene I can get every little  bit out of the bowl and then lick the spatula!

Just go back to your original post and tap or click on modify , change it, then tap or click save. I have to do it often when I don't use spell check or the iPad decides to change my words.
