Title: Hi I'm Katrina & lemon butter

Hello

I used to be a thermomix consultant but now I'm just a regular user!!

I'd like to know if anyone has any idea how long the TM31 lemmon butter lasts for once it's in jars, as I'd like to make some as Christmas presents but don't want to make it too early.

Hi Katrina, welcome to the forum.  I made this (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2578.0) recipe last week so if you have a read of that it will explain how to seal your jars to ensure the contents last longer. If I was making it for Christmas presents I would only do them a week before but that's just me.

Welcome to the forum, Katrina.

I'm not sure how long the lemon butter will last either, so stick with Judy's suggestion of making it closer to the date and perhaps put a 'use by' date on the label as well, just to be on the safe side.
