Delightful Den - They were easy and very tasty. I have to provide a savoury dish this weekend for our masters swim meet. I plan on trying Robyn's suggestion and making them about small golf ball size for my contribution to afternoon tea.
JD - I did exactly that today Den but wanted to serve more people so increased the ingredients to:-
600g chicken fillet - mince in 2 batches
40g dried tomatoes
1 large egg
25 g fresh breadcrumbs
70g crumbled feta
1.5 tblspns sweet chilli sauce
Mixed 20 sec/reverse/speed 2.
Cooked 20 mins/200oC.
It made 33 golf ball size.
JulieO - served in grilled Turkish bread with salad and a good dollop of my freshly made sweet & spicy capsicum relish. We loved it Judy and the recipe has gone straight into my file.
thermo 18 - Judy these patties are yummy, made them smaller as suggested as we had guests and had them as part of the finger food, loved by all.

Yum on the photo julieo and a yum on the recipe...did i say yum :D
-
These look and sound great, Julie did you grill yours or cook in the oven?
-
I was wondering the same Julie!
-
In the oven and they took exactly the time in the recipe. I did spray lightly with oil and preheat the oven.
Mine were quite sloppy before going into the oven but they turned out lovely and moist, not dry at all. :)
-
Julieo did u make your own turkish bread?
-
No, it was a bought one. I would like to give it a go though. ;D
-
Julie, the Turkish bread recipe might work.
-
Yes, I will get around to making one Chookie, can't hurt to try. I'm not the best bread maker, some things work and others don't. :-\
-
Julie, don't fuss too much about the bread making, Just keep taking those beautiful photos.
-
Thanks Chookie :-*

This looks nice but I am a vegetarian, Any ideas what I could substitute the chicken with?
-
Hello Monikaos, welcome to the forum with your first posting. Why not pop over to Introduce Yourself on the Home Page and tell us a little about yourself so that we can all officially welcome you within your own thread.
Do you eat fish? Perhaps canned tuna could be substituted for the chicken.
There is a recipe book available for vegetarians/vegans called Rainbow Recipes - see the index of this book here (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7086.0). It may be just what you are looking for.
