Title: This forum is soooo good. Wish I had found it earlier

I can't believe I have never discovered this forum before.  I am always looking for recipes.

Even tho I don't have a Thermo-Mix,  And my Thermo Chef will not get here until tomorrow or Tuesday I have already found so many recipes I want to try.

Tonight I am making icecream.  A new gadget I bought a few weeks ago is my gorgeous red icecream maker.  :-))
My husband thought.  Another gadget to fill up the cupboards but he is hooked
I was heating things and mixing things and blitzing things,  All in different bowls and appliances and I thought....
I bet the forum has an easier way to do this using Thermo (insert name here)

I am sensitive to eggs so usually have to reduce the egg content to only one lge free range per batch.
But when it is home made,  Using real ingredients,  the icecream is way better than any of the store bought gunk.

So..  Bring on the icecream.. ;D

I know Rosieb it's wonderful. The forum and the ice-cream ( don't try the salted maple syrup ice-cream , it's addictive)

 ;D  This had me intrigued so I had to go find the recipe.  I will give it a try.  I am not a caramel fan and nor is by OH but it doesn't soound to be too sweet.

Until I bought the icecream maker we had both preferred vanilla.  It seemed to be the least chemical tasting.
Now I make chocolate and mix through anything yummy I have on hand. :P

Well you have come to the right place RosieB, the forum has endless amount of recipes. I can guarantee you will never get bored. The forum is my No. 1 place to look before looking anywhere else.

There are so many lovely icecream recipes on here too RosieB. Some are custard based and others aren't, which will be good for you.

I have some egg substitute.  Works for custards so might try it in the icecream.
