Hi got my demo booked for the 20/11. Single person so want to know if I would benefit from TM

Welcome to the forum, James. There are quite a few singles on here and they all seem to adapt their recipes well to their situation - and if you cook too much, it's easy enough to freeze portions for future use, which is what we do here (there are two of us in this household). It is so good to know that, if I haven't had a chance to cook anything today, there is always something nourishing in the freezer. However, the biggest advantage is that you have total control of what you eat as you have made your food yourself - for me, that is a huge benefit and most of the members on this forum feel much the same.
Before too long you will receive quite a few responses to your post and I am sure you will get loads of inspiration and help from everyone here. I am sure you will love using your TMX, experimenting with your food and finding what suits you best.

Welcome to the Forum James. Many of the recipes can be made in half quantities, and as Marina suggests leftovers can be frozen.
The real benefit for you may be the ease of cleaning after very fast preparation and cooking. You can also leave a meal to cook while you do something else. Ask lots of questions at your demo.

Hi James, welcome to the forum. Do you entertain - then you will get plenty of use from your TMX. Do you want to make everything from scratch and avoid nasty preservatives - once again the TMX is perfect for this. Do you like cocktails for 1 (like me most of the time) - absolutely perfect for that. Go for it, you won't regret it. Do leave it sitting on the bench top though and not in a cupboard and you will be amazed at what you will end up making. A good browse of this forum will show you the variety of things we make in our machines.

Welcome to the Forum James, We are a family of four adults, so can't be compared to yourself. I can't see how anyone wouldn't benefit from a TMX. It has changed my shopping and eating completely, everything is made from scratch quickly. Enjoy your demo and let us know what decision you make.

Hi James and welcome. I guess the decision to buy can only be done by you. We are a family of 3 adults. DD is a professional and waiting to shift out of home. Initially she thought the TMX was an expensive gadget. She has now changed her mind. She has found when she is 'on call' the TMX will cook her dinner and when it calls all she has to do is turn it off. She has said that without it her meals when she is on call are either burnt or cold.
We love it and wouldn't be without it. I love that I can cook without having all those 'numbers' in my cooking. I know exactly what we are eating and hopefully that is better for us. DD also tells me they make great cocktails ever so easily. ;)

Hi James and welcome to the wonderful world of Thermomix. There are 2 of us in our household but there are times when there is only 1, such as now. And that is when Thermie comes into its own as it makes it so easy to whip something nice up just for yourself. Previously I would have gone out and got ready meals from the supermarket but now I make things for myself and, if there are leftovers, either freeze them or have them a few days later.

welcome to the forum James. The majority of people on the forum are users and a sprinkling of 'dealers', but we are all addicts. we are all going to say you definitely need a machine, and once you get used to eating food cooked with quality ingredients with no preservatives/additives you'll wonder why you didn't buy one sooner. not only will you have a helping hand in the kitchen, but you will find it a time saving device. as said before you can freeze leftovers for another meal, and depending on what sort of food you like you can adapt to suit your lifestyle.
I think the most important question is what do you like to eat and cook? what was the lightbulb moment that made you think that a TM will benefit you?

Thanks for all your tips and advice, have 5 people coming so far and I think three will def buy, I have seen it operate at friends house they made bread dough in minutes. I think many are tempted because of the interest free offer.how long does it usually take to get machine. :)

welcome to the forum james and have to agree think most of us were the same ie sceptical then sold!! Wouldnt be without my thermomix..hands down best buy I have ever made!
