Title: Demonstrators, what's available this month?
Post by: meganjane on November 07, 2011, 12:12:32 pm
My DD is wanting to buy a TMX with the 12 month interest free plan, but she doesn't want a demo.
What offers are available if she does have a demo and someone buys?

If she does have a demo, even if no one buys, she has the option of purchasing a Thermoserver for half-price (ie $30.00).  That is as a host reward.

If she buys herself at the demo, she gets the Thermoserver free as she has hosted a demo.  The Thermoserver is only for people who host.

Purchasers of the Thermomix in the month of Nov 2011 also get a Fast and Easy Indian cookbook free from Thermomix.  This is a November special, not a host reward, and so it comes straight to the purchaser with or without a demo.

Your daughter is aware of what usually comes with a Thermomix - Varoma, strainer, butterfly, spatula, measuring cup, manual, Everycay Cookbook? (+ after-sales service, warranty, cooking classes, support of the online community, free recipes ...)

The twelve month interest free finance offer applies to November and December finance applications for purchasers of a Thermomix.  There is a separate thread on here explaining that. (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7692.0)

Getting to the nub of your question, MeganJane, there is no particular incentive reward for the host if someone buys this month.  There was in October, because then if the host was wanting a second bowl and blade set they could get it for half-price ($195) if no one bought but for $150 if someone did buy.

That said, your DD may be able to negotiate with the Thermomix consultant for a personal reward from the consultant if she hosts and someone buys.  I wouldn't advise trying that in public though!  Any such incentive would be coming out of the consultant's pocket.

Thanks so much cecilia. Yes, DD knows what will come with it. She's now planning to buy it outright and was seeing if there were some other incentives available.

I purchased in November. I didn't host a party and haven't as yet received my thermomix. On the docket though my demonstrator has written that I will receive a thermoserver and the Indian Cook Book.

I'd get in touch with him/her and ask when you can expect delivery of your Thermomix. Things may be busy but at least you will know when it's coming.

i wonder why you haven't received your thermomix yet - my friend ordered hers this month and has it already. if it isn't delivered yet, i'd be asking them to check with HO about it.

Hi Mcmich.

If you ordered in November, you will definitely receive the Indian cookbook, which is fantastic.  That is assuming everything went through OK.

The Thermoserver is subject to your holding a delivery demo.  You don't need to hold it by a particular time - just as long as you have three households present, you will get it OK.

The Indian cookbook will come with the Thermomix whether or not you hold a demonstration.

Please let us know when it comes to you, so we can help you celebrate.  Tada time yet????

I ordered my second jug at the end of October and it only arrived today. Hopefully your TMX will arrive very soon!

I received the following message from head office in Perth concerning the second bowl and blade set October promotion, which would explain the slow delivery you experienced, jkmt:

Quote from: Garry Rodd, Executive Manager Commercial, on Nov 30. 2011
The last of the required stock to fulfil Orders from the Bowl and Blade Promotion should be arriving on Wednesday of next week. All orders for this promotion have been entered and either despatched, processed or in the case of Orders for which we have not had sufficient stock an email has been sent confirming that the Order is here awaiting stock to arrive.

Darn, I purchased my tmx in late Sept.  I would have waited a few days if I had known about the 1/2 price bowl/blade deal  :(

No, Stephanie, you were lucky because if you hadn't already purchased your Thermomix you weren't eligible for the half price second bowl and blade set.  It was only people hosting extra demos.
