Has anyone ever made lactation cookies in the thermomix?
Would love a recipe.

Hi Tasty - I've never made lactation cookies but I would expect that Thermomix could be used to make any kind of cookie. Do you have a recipe to follow? - if you're not sure how to convert it to thermie then post it here and we can help.
Do have memories of drinking buckets of fenugreek tea ..... :-))

Aww thanks Bonsai
I can't seem to post the link using the ipad but you can find the recipe by typing lactation cookies and belly belly. It's a simple recipe so i don't imagine it to be too hard to convert.

The original recipe which Tasty looked at is here (http://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums/f135/lactation-cookies-recipe-increase-breastmilk-supply-116517/).
To make this in the thermomix I would cream the butter and sugar on speed 4 for 2-3 minutes (scrape down the sides every minute or so) until fluffy, then mix in the eggs at speed 5 or 6, then add the other ingredients except oats and choc chips (I never bother sifting :-)) ) at speed 6, then stir in the oats and chips at speed 2-3 until mixed through without making porridge!
I have no need for lactation cookies any more (youngest DD is nearly 18), but hope this works - looks like a tasty recipe regardless! Other more experienced cookie makers may suggest other tweaks. I try not to cook them (or cakes) as then I have to eat them ;D

Aww, thanks Bonsai. I will certainly give this recipe a go next time I make them.
I made them the regular way yesterday and they turned out yummy. Hopefully they work to increase my milk supply but if not, they are a yummy snack!
