Check out what my husband found when we were trying to find ideas for storage for our pantry....
it is a rotating (rolling) can rack - that is very easy to make - and my husband is looking into making one for us....
if we decide to go ahead - and you are interested, he will document how he does it ;)

I don't think I'll let my DH see it-he's not allowed to have 500 cans stored. :P My DH is an ex manual arts teacher so loves mucking around with DIY and old cars etc. Anything that will make him dirty. ;)

hubby here - i understand - boys like to get dirty and it grows into adulthood ;D
seriously, we would probably only do half of that storage - that is the beauty of this DYI
catch ya

thats so clever i love it, yes 500 cans is like wow ;D
i will show DH he will love it 2

Wow 500 cans :o :o :o :o
I never have more than 4 or 5 of the same thing in the cupboard (although right now there is 8 cans of baked beans in there..we don't even eat baked beans ???)

You don't know what you are missing out on Kell, love baked beans. Add a can to some savoury mince, top with mashed potato - the kids love it.
-
lol thats alot of baked beans!
im not a fan of anything in a can...only usually get crushed tomatoes etc and sometimes fruit off season but wouldnt need anything near even half of that storage...but good idea for those of you who use alot of cans!

Canned foods i buy
Condensed milk , tuna, beetroot, baked beans, corn, coconut cream, water chestnuts, legumes
I make coconut cream now, but i still have a can or 2 for back up
