Title: Short hair styling product?
Post by: Vivaroo on October 13, 2011, 10:33:51 pm
Does anyone make their own natural hair wax/mud/gel type product or have any styling tips to avoid the use of commercial products which are making my scalp itchy. Doesn't have to defy gravity, just add some sleekness and hold style.

I've used Gypsy Rose  (http://www.gypsyrose.com.au/hair_spray.htm) hairspray before and these are the ingredients - rainwater, apple cider vinegar, lemon, lime & orange, essential oils, gelatine , sugar.

I'm partial to Mukti Botanicals hair styling wax.  :)

Thanks for your replies Ceejay & Naynay, nice stuff.
Fundj I went with the Vaseline this morning.  My hair was already clean and shiny from the rosemary rinse, and I put the tinniest amount on my fingertips. It was not greasy or heavy as one would think.  I had heard the Vaseline tip for nice groomed eyebrows.

My friends think I'm nuts with all this homemade stuff.
