I have so much time to Thermomix.
I went to my first group meeting with my group leader. She is very nice. I am still having problems with my Thermomix bowl but the great news is that she has given me a complete extra Thermomix so that I can do my parties finally. Imagine having two Thermodarlings in your kitchen. I thought buying a second bowl would be amazing but two complete Tm 31's in my house - wow!
The system here is different to Australia. It is not great must say. As I bought my machine outright I am responsible for all warranty repairs. Again, who cares, I have two machines until it is repaired. I might not even rush. My group leader told me to take as long as I want. I am sure that after having two machines in my house the next step will be.....
Two machines and two weeks holiday. I will be cooking loads and I will be posting more. Sorry for the absence everyone. I've missed you.

Fantastic 2 tmxs! 2 weeks holidays! It'll be so nice to hear what's cooking at your place.
-
We have missed you 2 .what do you mean As I bought my machine outright I am responsible for all warranty repairs ........................................no 2 years warranty
-
Lee, I was thinking about you just this morning and wondering what you were up to as you have been missed. I was hoping you hadn't been discouraged with the run of bad luck you had with your GL / German roads, etc. Good to see you back again and have a great time with your two TMXs. We'll look forward to hearing from you again.
Surely there must be at least a 12 month compulsory warranty on goods in Germany? How is it that you are responsible for all warranty repairs - that seems totally wrong.
-
I have missed you too Lee, I guess we all get busy. Glad you will have time to post. You always give me a giggle. I would LOVE 2 thermodarlings in my kitchen, have fun.
-
Lee you must have read out thoughts. Judy and I were only saying yesterday that we had missed your posts. Enjoy your holidays and have fun with your TM's
-
:) Lee, enjoy your time off, and cooking.

Twice the fun! Enjoy your break Lee!
-
Yes, have certainly missed you Lee but understand everyone is so busy these days. I also don't understand you not getting a warranty in Germany - everything should have a warranty surely.
-
Gosh that is a bit unfair to have no warranty.
Enjoy your break Lee and mix, mix, mix.

Hi loves,
I don't think I was clear with my warranty description. Thermie is under guarantee but as I own the machine, I am responsible for driving it around and getting the repairs done myself. I thought this would be like Tupperware where you give the broken bits to your dealer and they took care of everything. Stay tuned for a new photo.....

Glad you cleared that up Lee :)

Good to see you posting again Lee,I missed your chatter. ;D

Welcome back Lee and enjoy your break. I just had my school holidays here in Victoria and whipped myself into a thermofrenzy! Had a ball and clocked up over 50 hours of forum time! Now I'm back at school, I still hope to check in, so that I don't miss news of your thermocreations ;)
-
enjoy your holiday lee well break lol! funny how the machine is german and even in france vorwerk takes care of the transport for repairs via UPS!
-
Great to hear from you Lee. We missed you too :-*
Can't wait to hear what wonders you make with two thermies in residence. :D
-
Oh it is too wonderful. Ed and I are happily cooking together with two Thermies in the house. There is varoma steaming away, a risotto, meatballs, vegetables, mashed potatoes, a sauce and shortly a soup. No one is coming for dinner but we are having fun. We are trying to beat Hally by having the fullest freezer. I am taking photos of us and they will be up once we come up for air and stop cooking. Too much fun. I just wonder, only very quietly to myself, what it would be like to have three Thermodarlings in a row...... Sing with me
Three little Thermies, standing in a row.....

lol lee...only you would make a song out of wanting three thermies... ;D

At this time of the morning I can't laugh too loudly, might wake DH. The stupid part is that I actually sang that song Lee ;D ;D

So did I, then started thinking what the next line could be. :D

We had a Canadian Thanksgiving last Thursday night. And as they were about to throw away the left over turkey, I jumped to attention and filled my Tupperware full.
As a part of a double duo Thermomix night, I made a roast turkey and mushroom risotto. Here is a picture. I plated it all up for a photo just for you, then Tupperwared it and threw it into the freezer. IF you fancy the recipe I will post it. It is yum though!!!
The second photo is the food close up and the first is a staged version with a genuine glass of wine that Ed actually drank!!!

So much to do with leftovers, never goes to waste around here.
-
That's why I love this forum so much. People who are sensible with their food, don't waste and cook themselves. I have many darling friends who eat out almost all the time, complain about their weight and diet and that they have no money. To me, this is a "no brained" for the want of a better word. Ed and I have saved so much money over our time together but their are not many of our friends (present company excepted) cook like we all do.

We have many friends like that to lee, don’t get me wrong we go out 2 -3 times a week DH does not like eating out that often, it’s more of a social thing for us now. We have not been out 4 t in 8 weeks due to teeth problems :'(( not happy jan )
