Diet time! Trying to shift the baby weight as bub is now 9 months old. Very hard given the amount of yummy food I have been making in the TMX.
Really trying to limit carbs to once a day, and would love some ideas for soups. Mostly vegetarian. And carbs/ food to avoid include pumpkin, carrot, potato, lentil, chickpeas etc, and meant to only have a little tomato, corn, peas.
So far have cauliflower & almond, broccoli & almond, raw avocado soup, zucchini soups and asparagus soup. Which should keep me going for a while, but would love any more ideas, as currently not very inspired by the diet!!
Thanks!
Deb

Not a soup, but it does fill you up
Scramble 1 or 2 eggs and add it slowly while the blade are going at speed 3 to 4, about 1 min before the soup is ready. yummy with any soup.

Thanks JD (sorry for the delay - check things on the ipad but prefer to type on a proper keyboard!) - think I had most of those - cornflour, parsnips, apples, beetroot all no go, or in v small quantities :-( . Have enjoyed the cauliflower & almond soup though so far. Next a zucchini soup variation, and then asparagus soup as have people coming over for lunch. Plus chicken soup although don't do that in the thermomix - like to cook it slowly for a long time and in huge quantities!
Cheers
Deb

Thanks

Bebesha, I couldn't find anything specifically named Cream of Mushroom soup on the forum or in any of the lists of content of TMX books but my Fennel & Mushroom soup (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3846.0) could fit the bill or my Dried Mushroom Soup (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=5974.0) is creamy too. Chookie has some cream of soups here on the forum - Cream of Celery (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3159.0) and Cream of Asparagus (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4716.0) and the roux she uses is what makes it creamy so perhaps you could use her method to make a nice Cream of Mushroom soup.

I made a cream of cauliflower soup using Chookie's method for asparagus soup. I cooked the cauliflower for about 20 minutes, after blitzing it. You could try that with the mushrooms. I can't remember if Chookie used Vegie stock in hers or not, I did.
If you make it let us know how it went.
