hi there
l have been trying to making cinnamon sugar from cinnamon quills
but they are not turning to power. they look like tiny splitters of wood
has anyone done it before ?

I've tried drying out the quills first then blitzing, but like you I get the grainy splinters. I've gone back to using a little elec spice grinder that I've had for years and that does the job. Hopefully someone else has been successful and can give us some hints. :)

Googling usually comes up with what I am looking for Amanda, anyone can do it. I just typed in 'grinding cinnamon quills in the thermomix' then followed the links. :-* :-*
