Title: has anyone made cinnamon sugar from cinnamon quills

 hi there
l have been trying to making cinnamon sugar from cinnamon quills
but they are not turning to power.  they look like tiny splitters of wood
has anyone done it before ?

I've tried drying out the quills first then blitzing, but like you I get the grainy splinters.  I've gone back to using a little elec spice grinder that I've had for years and that does the job.  Hopefully someone else has been successful and can give us some hints.  :)

Googling usually comes up with what I am looking for Amanda, anyone can do it.  I just typed in 'grinding cinnamon quills in the thermomix' then followed the links. :-* :-*

 .l  will try these ideas . l hope they work , my son loves cinnamon sugar on his toast
l did try to search for it on the forum but was not able to find it
everything else came up with the same words , but they weren,t the right ones
