I have posted a recipe for Beer bread with cheese and herbs. 
You could just make it without the herbs.  It is nice both fresh and toasted.   But , as far as I know , nothing  will give the same texture of yeast. 
I will consult my bread making books to see what I can find for you.  CC's soda bread is probably the best substitute.  The sour dough is based on wild yeast, so I am not sure it this is what you want.

Have had a look,  and other than flat breads,  there doesn't seem to be much else.   Amanda recipe looks good,  but if you want a wholemeal type then Dan Lepard has a nice 'Waterford Soda Bread'.  Hope this helps. ;D
