Hi.  I'm assuming that these recipes are written for (or include instructions for) the thermomix - is that correct?

If so I must try and get hold of a copy as we are trying to slowly move toward a more vegan style of eating.

This is a great book with some amazing recipes in it. Please support Aileen and buy it if you are at all interested in yummy food made with ease in the TMX. I had the pleasure of attending a class here in Perth recently and she is truly knowledgeable and her recipes are delish!

That's great to know, Tenina, thanks.  I've received the details from her and I'm debating whether to wait until next time I'll be in Oz, or whether to have it shipped to the UK.  She sent me some sample pages which looked wonderful.

It's a very thick book Caroline and if you buy both of them, I think it is around the $40 mark for postage from here to the UK.

Oh, so many things to try! I am very happy with the different ideas, and some fab dairy alternatives that are 'failsafe' too! Very happy with those!!

Very much looking forward to trying some new things :)

I'm pretty sure Eileen recently joined the forum so, with any luck, we may see some activity from her at some time in the future.

I am considering buying this book but am wondering if the recipes use a lot of soy and wheat (we are soy, dairy and gluten free), I find I don't use the vegetarian cook book much as a lot of the recipes have soy, wheat and dairy in them. We are not vegan or vegetarian but enjoy a lot of vegan food and only eat organic and free range meat, which is expensive, so don't eat a lot of it!

ahoney I would suggest you email aileen4health@bigpond.com, tell her which foods you avoid and I'm sure she will tell you if this book of hers would be suitable for you.  I have it but there are too many recipes to wade through. I'm sure it would be quite OK for you though.
