Title: Greetings from Brisbane
Post by: simph on July 29, 2011, 10:00:57 am
Thermomix has lived up to and exceeded all my expectations.  How have we all survived thus far without one? I had coveted one from afar for awhile, but upon a dear friend getting one before me - well as good as sibling rivalry.  I had to have one.

I organised a demo and the lovely Miriam showed my dad and some gorgeous girlfriends how great Thermomix is.  Luckily my shift working husband was home and I think the 8 serves of lemon custard sold him.

Thermie is now part of the family my four year son can help turn it off when its beeping and my six year old daughter luckily no longer feels I am 'cheating' and has embraced the brilliance.  None of the family have rejected any of the magnificently healthy meals I now prepare without any packaged goods.  As you all know the time saving is priceless.

Another of my girlfriends who attended the demo has now purchased one too.  Happily we can gush and rave about how wonderful the Thermomix is to each other without feeling like we are scaring our uninitiated friends.

Welcome Simp. It was lovely to read your introduction and feel your enthusiasm and I agree with you about how nice it is to have a friend to "gush" about the TMX with.
