Title: Hi from Wantirna
Post by: makes_you_go_hmm on July 29, 2011, 01:48:45 am
Hi. We're a family in Wantirna (Melbourne). Thanks to all who post in the forum - it has been very informative. Before the TM arrived I already had some cheap spatulas & a baby bottle nipple brush (thanks - they were great tips!), some of the ingredients suggested to start (including lovely fresh spices), and a computer file of recipes of yours that I'd love to try. Your suggestions for changes to the EDC (my daughter would say I'm getting jiggy with the lingo) and your own variations are much appreciated.

I thought it would take ages to figure, but it's only been a week and I'm already starting to convert our recipes. Such a time saver.

Cyndi's gluten free bread is a winner - even for the non-Coeliac persons who have eaten it! Already made two different loaves and it's time to bake some more. It's a decent size loaf for sandwiches and keeps well in a container instead of having to freeze it within a day like some GF bread. Ha - I've had 3 Bette Hagman books on my shelf for 12 years with similar recipes but hadn't tried to bake them as my GF offerings have too often been knocked back. Now I might just pull them out and try the recipes, & those by others who have websites found via here.

My introduction to this machine has been made easy by your posts. The mistakes, the queries, the answers...keep it up!

Julie
