Title: Words of wisdom!!!!!!

 :) Consultants you may wish to use the following in your presentations. A friend who has recently purchased after using my machine for a weeK explaining to another non-cook - the thermie is wonderful, it is cooking by numbers.  This same family's 8yr old made a statement on the week end that would make anyone be encouraged at the wonders of this machine, from little Patrick's mouth came the words - "when I grow up I am going to buy a thermie!"  :)  :)  :)

Maybe we should all think about equipping our kids with a TMX when they leave home!

 :D I know my 2 want thermomixes for when they leave home, but they are only nearly 6-7.

Maybe a bridal registry too. Like x guests put in $100-$200 for one present.

DD has now decided she DEFINITELY  needs a TMX. Her reasoning is that she can do other things while dinner cooks.

My daughter just left home and I WISH she had a TMX. . . would feel better about what she was eating as she is not a keen cook.  I've only had my machine for 6 months, if I had have known how they change your life, maybe I could have put away some money over the years! I said to my 16 y o son, I'll have to get you one as a wedding present and he said "Thats incentive!"

Yep it's a lot of working JD as DD is only 4  :o

Like everyone though it would give me comfort know that they would at least be eating decently - I think I have trained them well enough for that ;D

I tell all my friends that children should get a TM as a leaving home gift ! At least you know that no matter where they live there is no excuse for bad food.

Im like you faffa_70, With 5 kids thats a lot of money to spend on TM each but I would love to do it for peace of mind. My yongest is 4 (5 in September) so I have a few years to save up for him at least.
