Hi,
Can you chop or dice carrots or celery in the TM? I cut medium sized carrots into thirds and gave it a second or two on speed 7 I think and ended up with what looks like finely grated carrot and celery. Another second and it would have been pulverised. I was after chunks about 1cm or so in size.. is it possible?

Chocymoose, this is what an 85g carrot, cut into 3 equal pieces & chopped for 2 seconds/speed 5 looked like. With your blades being newer and probably sharper than mine, I would only chop for 1 second, check then do another.
Didn't waste the experiment, turned it into a carrot & orange drink from the EDC.

Judy did you cut up the carrot for the purpose of showing chocymoose what it looks like or was you making something that needed carrots anyway?
chocymoose I made some coleslaw in the early TM days and chopped it for 5 seconds on speed 7. (5 seconds doesn't seem long) I have never seen coleslaw so fine before. Actually I think it was almost drinkable lol. ;D

Even with my rather old blades I never chop above speed 5 chocymoose. :)

Did it just to show chocymoose as it is sometimes easier to show than tell ;D ;D Put it to good use though.

or just freeze it until you can use it in something chocymoose! I think most of us have been there in the beginning :D

Not only the beginning Kathryn. I chopped some vegies the other day for a dish and got sidetracked for a moment and woosh, puree. It made a nice soup. :P
