 :) Hello from Christchurch New Zealand. I am having a demo on Friday and am buying the machine no matter what. Very excited about it all. I cannot wait to start cooking.

Hi Mel, welcome to the forum.  You sound like a very determined lady, mind made up before the demo  :D :D
You will love it though and hopefully you won't have to wait too long for it to arrive. How's life in your lovely city these days, were you affected by the earthquakes?

Welcome to the forum Mel.I like the fact you are already sold on the TM before your demo,you will not be disappointed.The forum contains some fabulous recipes so you will have plenty of fun cooking. ;) :)

Hi judydawn
We had a glass patio door damaged and a few little cracks. Nothing compared to what others have suffered. We were very lucky.
Thanks for asking. The city is going to be great when it is rebuilt and they are really working on it to get it ready for future visitors.

I saw it on Come Dine With Me  Australia and was blown away. Then started the research and had my demo on Friday. ould not find any negative things about the machine only that it was expensive. I sold a few appliances I was not using like the bread maker, the juicer an extra microwave and a few other gadjets I was not using. I enjoy cooking so I know the thermomix will be used everyday

Welcome Mel, today is your big day!! Make sure you let us know what you have been cooking. We all remember what it was like when we first got our TMX - and the feeling remains  :D

Oops sorry I thought you received your TM last friday but it was the demo you went to. Well Im sure you will be excited to receive your TM today and be cooking up a storm in no time
