Hi all,
I have had my Thermomix for about 6 months now and it has totally renewed my interest in cooking - I LOVE it and use it every day. My husband thought it would be a 3 month wonder and would be in the cupboard gathering dust by now - WRONG!!!
I have found this forum really helpful for recipes/tips/information etc so thought it was time I registered.

Welcome to the forum Caroline. How wonderful to hear that your interest in cooking has been renewed since owning a TM.I think many of us have proved to friends and family that the TM is not a fad.Enjoy your cooking :)

Welcome to the forum Caroline. What part of Adelaide do you come from? Hope to meet up with you at one of our gettogethers. I hear there might be one coming up after the school holidays.

Hi Caroline, welcome to the forum. We've had a few new members from Adelaide join this week, hope you all know about this (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=395.135) poll and will vote for our State. WA & Qld are way in front of us ;) Don't you just love proving DH wrong - it is very rare that someone buys a TMX and doesn't use it. The price alone is enough to make us want it to work it's butt off :D :D Nice that you finally decided to join us, it's a wonderful forum and you will love being part of it.

Hi and welcome Caroline. Isn't it wonderful all the new things you can make with your machine?

Hi and Welcome Caroline, There is no way that my TM will ever be put in the cupboard, I use it everyday and intend keeping it that way. Putting the TM in the cupboard.d would be like keeping the kettle in the cupboard. No chance of gathering dust.

Hi and welcome to the forum Caroline. You and your family will continue to be amazed by this little kitchen miracle, so pleased that you joined the forum :) :)

Welcome to the forum Caroline. Wouldn't have been very hard to prove your hubby wrong: our TMX has become indispensable ;)

Go to the chat section Caroline and see the posting about an Adelaide get together with Trudy & myself. Getting some takers and would love to have you join us.

Hi Caroline and welcome to the forum. Your husband's thoughts seem to echo around this forum as many of us have husband's that thought the same. Not sure if the best bit is proving them wrong or the amazing capabilities of the TMX!!! Oh that's right - the TMX outshines everything else, proving the DH wrong is just a little bonus on the side. ;D ;D ;D

Thank you all for the welcome! I have seen the details for the August get together Judy - would love to come but have to work :(
Perhaps next time?
Ironically, my DH has actually asked me to back off with all the different things I have been making as he is putting on too much weight!!! But proving him wrong has definitely been a bonus ;D
The TM still continues to amaze me with all the things it can do - am still learning new things - mostly thanks to you all for your fantastic recipes and ideas

Welcome to the forum caroline...im a prime candidate for the excitement wearing off and things ending up in cupboards etc but not Thermie...he gets used everyday if not several times a day and is about the only purchase that has definately paid for itself in being used ;D ;D
