OMG are people falling for this thinking it is a TM31??

It still has 6 days to go ???

Its not worded very well either, I could see people assuming it was a full size TM when indeed its the Children's Bimby TM which is only Battery operated and does not heat at all, just mixes.
Hope the winning bidder dosnt get caught buying something they didn't expect

I am in Adelaide, would love to buy for my kids, but starting bid is 99!! No way...
-
If you scroll down it does mention that it is battery operated, etc. but, yes, you could easily get caught out on this one. Also, the starting bid may be $99.00, but note the shipping is another $30.00!!!

hopefulcook there is a thread on here about them, basically they are not worth the money as they will only make a 300ml milkshake :(
-
interesting, just went to see how it was going and the listing has been ended!
-
I have read that thread. My kids are 6, 4 and 1. They love 'cooking' in their kitchen but 90% of what I cook is in my TM, I know they'd love pretend cooking with their own TM!!! I am a sucker for mini-things though, so maybe it is me who'd like it!!!
-
I do know what you mean as when I was thinking about it my two little ones adored their kitchen and still play with it an awful lot.
My real concern with that listing was that it wasn't worded very clearly and people could think they were buying a TM31 :(
It won't be long and yours will be old enough to use the TM31 HC :)
-
I have a children's one ;D we were given it 8) actually the boys were given it lol. They use it all the time. I didn't look at the link. How much did it go for?
-
I may have been playing devil's advocate here but after reading this thread I emailed the seller and told her it was misleading and someone may think they were bidding on an actual TM31 - as her ad stated - and she has now relisted it with a much better wording - starting at $99

Even worse than that is the recent sale of a toy Thermomix that sold at £790. I don't know how the seller thought to get away with that!! They didn't, and Ebay told them they had to give the money back. I noted that the seller had bought it on the German Ebay for £130. I think they must have made the mistake and now sought to sell it on to some other unfortunate person or worse still, they intended to defraud because when I sent a question asking if this was a toy model, back came the reply that he didn't know!.......come on!!!
You really have to keep on your toes with Ebay.

Wow Decadent Dot that is unbelievable. Cant believe what some people will try to do, they obviously have no morals.
-
ahh that makes sense I must have red it afteryour email kyliejade because the wording looked fine to me..that is still expensive though...here they sell for 40 euros so 100 aud seems a bit steep..

I think I would rather supervise my children using the real thing than pay that amount for a toy they would use only occasionally.
