Title: Red Lentil and Kidney bean soup

Name of Recipe:
Red Lentil and Kidney Bean Soup
Number of People:
6
Ingredients:
2 sticks celery
1 onion
1-2 cloves garlic
1 sprig rosemary
250g red lentils (rinsed)
1 tin red kidney beans
20g oil
700ml chicken stock
400g tinned tomatoes
Optional- Chilli (to suit your own taste for heat)

Preparation:
Chop onion, garlic, celery and optional chilli for 3 seconds on speed 6.
Add oil and cook for 3 minutes, 100C on  ^^.
Add red lentils, kidney beans, rosemary sprig, tomatoes and chicken stock. Cook for 20 minutes at 100C,  :-: ^^.
Remove the rosemary before eating. 


Very low fat and SOOOO delicious!

That looks like it has just resolved what I am going to be making for dinner to eat in front of a roaring fire tomorrow night - with the addition of some hot, fresh bread!  Thanks for posting that recipe.

Thanks for bumping this- it was delicious with a generous amount of chilli, a dollop of sour cream or yoghurt and some chopped coriander.
Mine wasn't cooked after 20 minutes - it needed almost double that time.
