Here are birthday cakes I have made with the help of my kitchen helper (Thermomix). I use the Bimby chocolate cake recipe and whip up some butter icing. With a family of 7 I am making Birthday cakes most months of the year. ;D

Love the frog!

You certainly get plenty of practice Mandi - great results.

Very true Judy, I have been pretty slack at making the Birthday cakes for the last few years, but now with TM it only takes seconds to whip up the cake ready for the oven. Too easy.
I have Feb, June, July, Sept, Oct, 2 in Dec for my lot. I also quiet often make other peoples birthday cakes as well like my Sisters last week (the Frog).

I've got about 5 birthdays in September - do yo fancy a visit to Melbourne??????

lol Cuilidh,
I could send them by post if you want. I reckon they may look like an elephant sat on them by the time it arrives though.
My youngest DS turns 5 on the 20th September.

Fantastic cakes. Your kids must be thrilled every time their birthday comes around.

Mandi, they are great, well done :)
The more you do, the more complicated ones thru want. Last birthday, DS had the solar system. A girlfriend did an amazing job.

Great job dede 8)
That's a lot of cake and butter-cream, from past, present & future!

Thanks everyone,
And Maddy yes you are correct about a lot of cake and Butter cream. I would hate to add it all up :P.
Cookie1 I have 3 WW birthday cake books. The kids love picking their cakes out each year.
And Hally I think your right about getting more complicated for the older ones, who knows what I will be attempting down the track, If it gets to complicated I will get someone else to make it. I dont mind making cute kids cakes but thats as far as my skills can go i do think lol. :D
