Title: Hallo from Ireland
Post by: creme brulee on May 18, 2011, 09:09:45 pm
Hi, my DH bought me a Thermomix two weeks ago and I just Love it. :-* :-*
I made some dough for curry bunnies and buns and I am just stunned at the texture of the dough. Although it takes about the same time as my bread machine before I can bake it, I don't have to wait an hour and a half before I can mix the second batch.

My husband made marmalade- 20 minutes and was blown away by the speed as well- he will not buy marmalade again.

I love experimenting and with the help of some of the recipes in the forum I have already adapted some of my trusted recipes for the TM.

I am looking forward to sharing recipes and getting to know my fellow TMixers  ;D

Hi and welcome to the forum creme brulee  ;D

My one dream in life is to one day travel to your beautiful country and sit in an Irish pub, sip on a Guiness and listen to some fantastic Irish music playing.

Hi creme brulee, welcome to the forum.  Looking forward to seeing the recipes you are going to share with us and like knittercook, I'd love to do the same thing (apart from the Guiness perhaps) - love Irish music and have enjoyed a couple of Foster & Allen concerts.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I will post the curry bunny recipe over the weekend- will have to make it again tomorrow night to take a photo.
How do I post a recipe?  I looked at all in one meals, but when I try a new topic, it does not give the list- eg name of recipe, how many people etc  ??? or do I put it in myself?

You are right creme brulee, the latest addition to our list of topics does not give any details so you can just type it out as per any recipe you would write down for a friend.  For that section though it must be a complete meal, using the varoma and bowl for sauce, meat dish, vegies & rice/potatoes.  If it is just one part of a meal, use one of the other topics like Main Meals, Vegetarian, Soup etc.
