I'm looking for a biscuit recipe for use with cookie cutters. I need to supply dozens of cut out "hand" shaped cookies in a few weeks time and so something easy and economical would be great! The recipe doesn't need to be a particularly healthy one - it's a special occasion - but I will need to avoid nuts and sesame seeds (that I know of!)
So if you're able to share your favourite recipe with me that would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I am posting this recipe without TM conversion but was pretty easy to convert.
Ingredients250g Butter
1 cup Sugar
3 Eggs
3 Cups Plain Flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp Bicarb
Method
Cream butter and Sugar.
Add the eggs one at a time. Mix well.
Add flour, Cream of tartar and bicarb and mix till combined.
Using extra flour roll out mixture and cut out shapes as desired (My kids love my sheep and pig cookie cutters)
Bake in 180 deg oven until golden brown.
When cool you can join together with Jam and ice.

Thanks dede and CC for your responses! :)
I ended up making 5 batches of the recipe you left a link for CC - and cut out soooo many biscuits! Went to bed rather late - not because it took a long time - but because I could only fit a couple trays in the oven at once!
But the result was some very happy children!
Thanks again
