Title: Muffin-like musli bars with jam filling?

My sons really like these bars in the their lunchboxes, but I would like to stop buying them as they are full of sugar and other rubbish (the bars, not my sons!  ;) )

They have a cake or muffin like outer shell, and the inside is filled with some kind of fruit flavoured jam - often blueberry, apple or berries.

Does anyone have a comparable recipe? I would love to make these successfully myself!

You could make a muffins with a spoon of homemade jam in centre. Would still have sugar in it though. You could also make a jam slice topped with oats and other goodies??  :-\ Have you seen the popcorn bar or date bar for school lunches on here??
