Title: Anyone watched Zumbo on SBS just now?
Post by: Zan on February 10, 2011, 09:00:21 am
A couple of glimpses of the TMX being used.
Pity nothing showing the front (well I couldn't look at the pigs blood one, lol, dd1 told me that there was a Thermomix on as I was closing my eyes. )

Yeah, I think there were two scenes with the thermie. Both times they were doing flavours for the ganache I think... mixing without the MC. :)

LOL yes the no mc worried me, lol!
But as they obviously use it for the ganache all the time with no 'flying out' problems I think I must be too conservative.

I really enjoyed this show. I love his macarons and would love to be in Sydney when he had macaron day. Not too sure about the pigs blood jelly though. I've already told the family I want his DVD when it comes out. Loved seeing the TMX too.

I watched it online - fantastic!  He's achieved so much in his 28 or 29 years.  I've never tried a macaron and I'm thinking I should make sure that when I do it's a good one.

Did you hear how much people were spending on those boxes  :o  :o!  Could feed our family for almost a month!

Cathy a good macaron is just divine. Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside with a lovely flavour. They are definitely a sometimes food though.
