Title: Portuguese Rice Pudding

Name of Recipe:Portuguese Rice Pudding
Number of People:6
Ingredients:

1 liter Milk
130 gr Rice
1 lemon peel
Cinnamon Powder
1 pinch of salt
150 gr sugar
4 egg yolks


Preparation:

Place all ingredients, except the sugar and egg yolks, into the bowl. Program for 45 mins, counterclockwise 90º.
When done, add the sugar and egg yolks and cook for a further 10 mins, counterclockwise 90º.
Place the cooked mixture into a serving bowl (or individual desert bowls) and let it cool down and place in fridge for a few hours. When ready to serve,sprinkle the top with cinnamon.

Just wondering what speed to cook this on? I thought maybe  ^^? I'm new to Thermomix!! Thanks Tracey

I haven't made this so i had a look through the books i have and can't really help much.

the recipe for rice pudding in the EDC is reverse speed 3 and the recipe in MWOC is reverse speed 1

Someone else will have a better idea than me - I hope ;D

Thanks Chrissa. I'm trying it on  :-: and speed 1. I made it a few days ago no problem but I don't remember there being no speed setting that day  ???
