I read the magazine at the hairdressers so don't have it in front of me but basically it was mentioned as one of the top appliances to have but gave a bit of a negative saying the price was high.  :)

I"m off to look.  It's in an article titled ' What's Hot in 2011.' It's called a Kitchen Wizz. Says there is a huge buzz about a new kitchen accessory.
".........claims to be one the world's most advanced appliances. It can chop, beat, mix, whip, grind, knead, mince, grate, juice, blend, heat, stir, steam and even weigh.  All in a matter of seconds."
It goes on to say that the only drawback is the price.

At least we got a mention.

Even though I love it, and couldnt imagine life without the TMX now I agree, the price is a drawback. It puts a lot of people off. Thank goodness my DH didnt even question the price but others are not quite as forgiving I understand.

there was also a good glimpse on TV last week on some show like Today Tonight or ACA, for quick healthy snack ideas for kids lunchboxes. There was a TMX sitting on her bench in the kitchen, and wasn't put into action as she prepared whatever it was by hand.

I agree, I think husbands need to see it in action, otherwise they just think you want to fork out 2 grand for a blender or something, lol. I know once my husband saw it he could not wait to buy one.

There was a glimpse of TMX on Oprah in Australia!  It was the lady whose husband was quite sick and she was talking in her kitchen with TMX behind her!  My son saw it straight away - "Hey Mum, she's got a TMX!"

I saw that one too.
I said to my hubby "see, even she's got one"
He still needs convincing that it's the be all to end all in kitchen needs.  :D
