Hello everyone. I am new here and I don't even have my thermo yet!! I am so excited and cant wait to start cooking. My new "toy " should arrive this or next week. ;D
-
Hi Tablelander, happy to be the first to welcome you. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for you tmx. Jenny :)
-
Welcome to the forum. Hope you don't have to wait toooooooo long until your TM arrives.
-
Hi Virginia, glad you could join us. Whilst waiting for your delivery you have plenty of time to have a good browse of our forum and pick out some recipes you want to start with. That's probably the only good thing about to having to wait for your new toy.
-
Hey Virginia!!! Great to see you on here! This is a really great forum - start reading all the wonderful tips and ideas, and printing out recipes, and by the time your Thermy arrives you'll be really prepared! ;D Jo xx

Hi Virginia and welcome to the forum.Have fun cooking when your new TM arrives. :)
-
Welcome Virginia. The awful part is the waiting. As Judy said at least you can browse and think about what you will make.
-
Thank you everyone for the welcome..
I have been looking to see what I want to cook but there is soooo much it is all overwhelming.
-
Here's some ideas to start with Virginia - meant to send you this anyway!!

Welcome Tablelander....oh the wait, it just feels so long, but wait til your baby is on your bench and you'll soon forget as you'll be so busy mixing, blending, pureeing, baking, chopping, dicing and of course EATING!!
The first few days can be a bit daunting, start slow but don't be afraid. My only tip is to read the ENTIRE recipe first as some of the steps are not written in the order you need them, so read the recipe in it's entirety and then GO FOR IT!!
Look forward to hearing of your progress.

Hi,
I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but as soon as mine arrived (which was over Christmas so he was at home) my husband wanted to play with my new toy too - I eventually got him out of the kitchen and had it all to myself ;D
-
Ha ha! Thankfully the only thing my dh uses it for is juices - but he does get cross if I'm using it when he wants to make juice!!! :D
-
:) Hi Virginia, where do you live, I am in Yungaburra.

Hi Robyn, I am in Atherton, I own the www.halloransleisurepark.com (http://www.halloransleisurepark.com)
Thanks for the links Jo.
I don't think my DH will be in the kitchen when Annabel {TM31} arrives or ever. Lets just say he is a good Italian man that his mother raised. lol
-
Welcome to the forum Tablelander, I hope that your experiences will be positive and you will have so much fun learning. Cheers :) :)
-
Virginia that is where we stayed when we were in Atherton. We loved it.
-
Hey, Cookie, how come you came to Atherton and didn't come visit me??? ;D
-
:) Hey Cookie, you could come and visit me too.

I didn't know all you wonderful people then and I didn't own a thermomix. Watch out next time though. :-* :-*

Thanks Cookie, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. I am enjoying using Annabel very much. My 11yr DD made Tzaziki dip yesterday and it was yum!

Belated welcome - hope all is well
