Title: Posting recipes from TM cookbooks?
Post by: LeeJ on December 23, 2010, 10:49:42 am
Is this a taboo?

I've read through the terms of the site, etc, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I notice that it is not 'the done thing' to pop recipes up from the different Thermomix recipe books.

Can someone fill me in on the PC rules?

I don't know why we don't.  I think it makes sense too. Esp. when tweaking.

copyright????!!!

if you change it a bit you can i believe, but straight out copying breaches copyright. that said i don't think MM has any issues with it, he's never mentioned any, it's just that the rest of us kind of respect the copyright & ownerships of thermomix  ;)

Don't mind me, my sleep deprived state is not doing me any favors with general knowledge...

I have most of the books that interest me coming, just thought I'd put it out there (even thought it's blatantly obvious...now that it's pointed out)

Usually, if someone is desperate for a recipe and is waiting for the book to come, we pm them with the recipe rather than posting them here.
